Privacy Policy

This policy explains what ENORI collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the website at enori.app and the ENORI app at app.enori.app.

1. Who is responsible

ENORI is built and operated by Alexandre Lelchat, based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. For anything about your personal information — questions, access, corrections, deletion, complaints — write to:

2. Who can use ENORI

ENORI is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and any account found to belong to a minor is deleted.

3. How you sign in

You can create an account with Google, with Apple, or with an email address and password. When you use Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from them — never your password.

4. What we collect

• Profile: your name, email address, profile photo, the sports you pick and the suburb or city you set.
• Activities: the activities you create or join, and your attendance history.
• Location: used to show you activities near you and to place activities on the map. Activity locations are public venues; your own position is never shown to other members.
• Messages: the messages you exchange with other members, including activity group chats.
• Reports and blocks: what you report or who you block, and the content concerned, so it can be reviewed.
• Technical data: connection logs and the cookies strictly necessary to sign you in and keep your session open.
• Waitlist: if you fill in the form on this website, the email address and the optional details you give, stored through Netlify Forms.

5. Why we use it

Your information is used to run ENORI and nothing else: creating and securing your account, showing you activities nearby, letting you join and organise them, showing your profile to the members of an activity you take part in, delivering messages, reviewing reports, and sending you service emails about your activities.

Waitlist addresses are used to tell you when ENORI opens in your city and to send occasional news about the app. You can unsubscribe at any time.

6. Who else handles your information

A few providers process data on our behalf, only to make ENORI work:

• Netlify — hosting for this website, and storage for waitlist submissions.
• Base44 — hosting and database for the ENORI app.
• Google and Apple — sign-in, when you choose one of them.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected to a standard comparable to Australian Privacy Principle 8.

7. Your rights

ENORI follows the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR applies to you as well. Either way you can:

• See and correct your information, from your profile in the app or by writing to us.
• Delete your account — in the app under Settings, or by emailing hello@enori.app. Deleting removes your profile, your messages and your activity history. Reports made about you may be kept where we need them to protect other members.
• Withdraw consent — revoke ENORI's access to your Google or Apple account from that account's security settings, and unsubscribe from our emails at any time.
• Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it.

We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au), or to your local data protection authority if you are in the EU or UK.

8. How long we keep it

Your account information is kept while your account exists, and deleted when you delete it. Waitlist addresses are kept until you ask us to remove them. Connection logs are kept for a short period for security, then discarded.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated. The date at the top of this page always shows the last change, and significant changes will be announced in the app.
