ENORI
THE STORY

Sport is the easiest way to meet people. We built ENORI around that.

Moving to a new city can be complicated, because finding friends who share the same mindset and interests as you takes time and rarely happens on its own. Plenty of people want to move and connect just like you. There just wasn’t an easy way to meet on the field — now there is, with ENORI.

Sport has always been the shortcut. You show up for the thing you actually like doing, and so has everyone around you. Turn up a few times and you know people. Next thing you know, you’ve made some great connections — just because you kept showing up.

Whether you want to play football, go for a run, or get a beach volleyball game going — create an activity or join one that is already happening, and the rest will follow.

That’s what ENORI is for: not forced networking, but meeting people through what you already love doing.

BEHIND ENORI

Built by Alex, in Brisbane.

I moved to Brisbane knowing nobody. Finding a game to join turned out to be harder than the game itself — plenty of apps to track a run, none to find the people to run with.

So I started building the thing I was looking for. ENORI is made by one person, here, and every activity on it is one I would turn up to myself.

If something feels off, or you just want to say hello, write to me at hello@enori.app — it reaches me, not a support queue.

ABOUT THE NAME

The name comes from a word that has no direct translation.

縁 — En

En is a Japanese concept for the ties between people — the connections, encounters, and small chance meetings that end up shaping a life. It's the word used when someone says a meeting was "meant to happen."

It isn't really a fact. It's a feeling — the sense that some connections carry a little more weight than others.

Why it fits

ENORI is built on a simple belief: an app can bring people together, but true connection happens in real life, when people show up and move together.

The name is our reminder of what we're actually building toward, every time someone opens the app.

OUR LOGO

Different paths. One circle.

We spent as much care on the mark as on the product. It isn't decoration — it's the idea, drawn.

The people

Every connection begins with someone.

The dots represent people. Not a specific number, but the individuals who choose to move, meet and connect. Every community starts with one person reaching out to another.

The curves

Shared journeys.

The flowing curves represent the paths people take. As they move, their journeys naturally intersect. Like open arms, they welcome others into the circle.

The circle

One community.

Individually, every path is incomplete. Together, they create a circle. A symbol of belonging, inclusion and meaningful connections built through sport.
